Emma Castillo is in her 7th year in dance. She is a Diva DanceCo member, soloist and choreographer. Her studies include, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Ribbons, Pop Dance, Pilates, Theatre Dance and Composition of Choreography. She is part of the GT and Honors program taking high school courses, Art Club, Texas Ace, competing in V.A.S.E. and received a gold medal, received 3rd place in Division 3 Art Mixed Media at the 47th annual BISD Secondary Art Contest, and is taking and competed in the BISD Bravo Ballroom Competition. She will now be entering high school as part of cohort and dual enrollment with BISD and TSC.

Danielle Alcala is in her 6th year in dance. She is a Diva DanceCo member, soloist and choreographer. Her studies include, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Ribbons, Pop Dance, Hip Hop, Rhythm Dance, Pilates, Theatre Dance and Composition of Choreography. She is an A Honor Roll student at her elementary school and is a member of the Elementary Honor Society. She has won 2nd place in Ready Writing competition in Los Fresnos. She has been part of the elementary dance team where they have performed in the Los Fresnos Parade, Vipers Basketball, and high school basketball games and is also a part of her Yoga club. In the future, she would like to be a dancer, fashion designer and a counselor.

Angelina Olivarez is in her 1st year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. Her studies include Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Ribbons, Pop Dance, Theatre Dance and Composition of Choreography. An “A” Honor Roll student, her participation in Destination Imagination has taken her to Globals three times, winning 1st place with her team, and being recognized by BISD. She has participated in Estudiantina, and the Garden Park Dance Team. Her UIL involvement has earned her and her team 1st place. Being driven with compassion, she aspires to a pediatrician.

Clarissa Elena Becerra is a Brownsville native and was first introduced to dance at Christian Dance Arts studio at the age of two, where she learned the basic steps to ballet and experienced gymnastics. At the age of four she enrolled at Diandra Cavazos Dance Company and had her first dance recital experience on stage performing Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Ballet.

At the age of nine she joined her school ballroom team and enjoyed all the numerous styles that included Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha cha, rumba, salsa, merengue. She continued ballroom through middle school and is still part of her high school ballroom team learning other styles that included Viennese waltz, mambo, and samba. At the age of 16 she enrolled at Fred Astaire Dance Studio and participated in numerous ballroom dance competitions. She had the opportunity to compete in the United States Amateur Dance Sport Championships in Utah where she earned 1st in Youth Pre Championship Rhythm, 2nd in Youth Amateur Rhythm, and 2nd in Adult Pre Championship Rhythm. She also competed in Houston at the AAU Junior Olympic Games Dance competition where she earned five gold medals and one silver.

Isabella Ibarra is in her 3rd year in dance and is a Diva Dance Co and Performing Dance Co member. Her studies include Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Theatre Dance, Pop Dance and Hip Hop. She has recently become a dance assistant in training at the dance studio. She is currently an active member of the choir and library club at her elementary school. She has received the “Character Award” in recognition of her outstanding cooperation with peers, positive attitude, and willingness to support her classmates. She is also an honorary member of the Los Fresnos Interact Club and is enrolled in swimming classes. In the future, she aspires to become an artist.

Catalina Villanueva is in her 1st year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. Her studies include Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Ribbons, Pop Dance, Theatre Dance and Composition of Choreography. She is currently in the Gifted and Talented program and an “A” Honor Roll student at JLA. She has also participated in cheerleading at Sombrero Fest and local parades.

Madison Cavazos is in her 2nd year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Jazz/Lyrical, Composition of Choreography, Theatre Dance and Hip Hop. She enjoys gaming, dolls, loves dancing and singing. She is interested in becoming a dance teacher.

Mila Cruz is in her 2nd year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical. She is currently an A Honor Roll student. She loves to roller skate, arts and crafts and sing. In the future, she would love to be a performer.

Olivia Garcia is in her 2nd year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Theatre Dance, Pop Dance, and Hip Hop. She is an A Honor Roll student at her elementary school. Olivia is a passionate dancer who brings joy and energy to every performance. She is an honor roll student in bilingual classes and dreams of becoming an artist one day. Outside of dance, she enjoys riding her bike and playing with her dog, Charlie.

Monse Martinez is in her 2nd year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical, Composition of Choreography, Theatre Dance and Hip Hop. She enjoys reading, drawing, dancing and singing. She is a proud recipient of core value award, “Team and Family” at her school. When she grows up, she would like to be a teacher.

Mariana Puente is in her 2nd year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She is an A Honor Roll student at her elementary school, where she is also in the GT program. She loves to read and draw. She is also enrolled in Taekwondo. She would like to be a doctor in the future.

Angelina Escobedo is in her 2nd year in dance and is a performing Dance Co. member. She is currently enrolled in Private Lessons and is a 1st year soloist. She is a proud new student and member of First Baptist School and Church. She has participated in Theater at Camille Playhouse 2 years in a row. She has a strong faith in Christ so much that she even got baptized on February 1, 2026. She shows her faith by doing kind deeds, helping her community, showing love for friends, family, dance, and Jesus through her singing and sharing the gospel. She has a deep love for science, reading, choir, church, spending time with family, friends, and dance. She also enjoys talking to those around her and her spiritual life. She not only has a very social spirit but loves to make people happy with how God made her—the positive, beautiful way she is. Angelina has been a dancer, singer, and actress her whole life and has loved each and every part of her dance classes because they have always made her so happy and excited. In the future, she would like to be a future gynecologist and YouTuber.

Mia Huerta is in her 1st year of dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. she is enrolled in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Theatre Dance, Pop Dance and Hip Hop. She is an A Honor Roll student at her elementary school, and she is anxiously waiting for second grade to be part of the cheerleading team, she sings at our church choir
Mia loves to draw, paint, sing and dance. When she grows up, she would like to be a singer.

Jolynn Martinez is in her 1st year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Her previous training in gymnastics and jiujitsu have given her a great discipline and movement. She is also a dedicated student that takes pride in her schoolwork, consistently earning straight A’s. When she is not in the dance studio, Jolynn loves to draw and spend quality time with her family and friends. She also has a natural nurturing side and adores caring for little ones. Her future goal is to become a dance teacher or a schoolteacher so she can share her love of learning and movement with others.

Izel Ruvalcaba is in her 1st year in dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Level 1/2, in Jazz/Lyrical, Composition of Choreography, Theatre Dance and Hip Hop. She will be participating in the end of year school musical. She enjoys softball, dancing and singing. She loves babies and would like to become a nurse or midwife in her future.

Amelia Garza is in her 1st year in dance. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She loves her family and friends, playing, and being fierce. Currently she is aiming for Mutton Bustin’ 2028 and is picking up boxing as well.

Lani Garza is in her 1st year in dance. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She loves to dance and enjoys photography, learning to play the guitar, and making friends. She is interested in becoming a Rockstar/Musician.

Divine Elizabeth Garcia is in her 1st year in dance. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She is in Pre K 3, and loves going to school and learning. Since she was a baby, she has always been dancing and moving around and loves to learn dances from different people on YouTube. She would love to be a dancer and a singer when she grows up.

Michelle Martinez is in her 1st year of dance and is a Performing Dance Co member. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She has loved to sing and dance since she was 2 years old, always singing along to her favorite songs and dancing with joy. She truly comes alive when she performs.
She loves it because it’s fun and makes her happy! Michelle is known for being loving and giving, and her dream is to become a singer and dancer in the future.

Moon Resendez is in her 1st year in dance. She is currently enrolled in Intro to Dance. She loves to sing, dance and playing with friends. When she grows up, she would like to be a doctor.
